Suzanne J. McGaha, MS,CCC-SLP

Suzanne is a skilled and dedicated professional providing one-on-one, on-line training at your convenience. She’s also available for off-site, in-office training in the Dallas and Houston areas of Texas. She has more than 20-years of experience as a licensed and certified Speech Pathologist. Suzanne’s passion is Accent Reduction training, helping physicians and many other business professionals and support staff to more clearly communicate vital patient information and business details while maintaining the rich cultural aspects of one’s native language. Suzanne also provides evidence-based articulation therapy for adults and children along with Idiomatic English training. Plus, our website has a vast series of free downloadable speech resources. Suzanne is a seven-time recipient of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association’s national ASHA-ACE award. Along with being nationally certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association, she is licensed in multiple states. She’s an active member of three of ASHA’s national Special Interest Groups. Suzanne is also a certified Vital-Stim and LSVT-LOUD treatment provider.

Suzanne has served in supervisory positions guiding and training other speech therapists.

Not only does Suzanne have more than 20-years of experience as a speech pathologist, she has 7-years of experience as a broadcast journalist.  Suzanne’s broadcast journalism career coupled with her 20-plus years as a speech pathologist has made her a respected media consultant providing clients with professional media relations, on-camera live presentation training along with non-partisan political campaign media consulting.

Suzanne is the owner of the Texas based company, Distinct Speech Solutions, PLLC and she serves as the chief operating officer of distinctspeech.com.  Suzanne has authored two books My Memory: My Past is Now My Present and Big Red’s Big Adventure.
